Items for the veterans at the
Martinsburg VA Center are still being
collected.  Personal items such as
toothpaste, mouthwash, reusable
grocery bags, etc. are very much
appreciated.
We will deliver these items as a
chapter to the VA this year!  More
information to come.

  • Coupons are still needed to send to the
    various military bases.  Remember to
    bring your coupons to the next meeting,
    or contact Shirley Marshall, Registrar.  

  • Cancelled stamps are still needed.  The
    stamps are used by the children at St.
    Jude's Hospital.  They create art projects
    and sell the artwork to help raise money.

  • Members are encouraged to send
    Confederate related news or material for
    publishing to this website.  Please send

Turner Ashby #184 continues the
tradition, maintaining the annual 6th of
June Memorial Service.  2011 marks the
145th consecutive service.  But we can't
do it alone.  Much appreciation goes
out to the volunteers that help, from the
nearly 3,000 flags placed at each grave
and are later taken down, to donations
of time, equipment and money.  Your
donation of $10, $25, $50, $100 or more
will help us continue this important
tradition for years to come.  Our
Confederate Heroes buried at Stonewall
Cemetery deserve the recognition and
honor bestowed upon them  every 6th
of June, since 1866.  Donations may be
sent to Turner Ashby #184, in care of
Debbie Thomas, Treasurer, 541 Kimble
Road, Berryville, VA  22611.  Thank you
