| One of our most important duties as a chapter happens at Stonewall Cemetery, located within Mount Hebron Cemetery in Winchester, Virginia. Nearly 3,000 Confederate Soldiers from 11 Confederate States are buried here. Our Confederate Memorial Service is always held the Sixth of June. The Sixth of June is a significant date, as it is this we remember and honor the day Brigadier General Turner Ashby was killed. The service has been continuously held for 144 years. Turner Ashby and his brother Richard are buried in Stonewall Cemetery. |
